PTG CPC Module Mercedes-AMG Tune
Due to the growing need to control electronics in the later model Mercedes vehicles equipped with the 9-G Tronic, 9-Speed Transmission, Mercedes added a CPC (Powertrain Control Module) to handle some of these duties.
The CPC Module in your AMG has control over overall torque output among several other key functions. When tuning the ECU, the CPC Module will intervene and send the ECU several messages to decrease power via ignition timing and boost. When tuning the CPC, we can adjust these values to properly work with the ECU.
Other key features the CPC is responsible for is the exhaust flap control, vehicle speed limiter, intercooler pump flow, and HP/TQ display on your dash among others. The engineers at Premier Tuning Group provide a new calibration that optimizes these settings and allows your AMG to run even stronger and more reliably than ever before.
Key Features:
- Properly adjusted torque monitoring maps to unleash full potential of ECU tune
- Removal of Vehicle Speed Limiter
- Full calibration and adjustment of intercooler coolant pump flow (drops intake air temperatures down)
- Adjustment of HP & TQ on your AMG screen
- Adjustment and user ability to remove exhaust flaps if needed
Parts Included:
- New OEM CPC Module
- OBD Cable
- Verstand OBD Software
This upgrade requires a new CPC module to be plugged into your vehicle and calibrated through OBD via our proprietary Verstand Software.
JUST ADDED: PTG is excited to announce that you can now include datalogging and revision for your tune. With this option you can use Verstand to log your specific car's parameters and send them in to optimize your unique setup. Find more information at the link below.
